What I can do if someone becomes seriously ill or has an accident
This is a short film about what you as a student can do if someone close to you becomes seriously ill, if there is an accident or something worse. Our emergency care teachers show you how to use a defibrillator, how to stop severe bleeding, and how to shelter in place or evacuate if there is a serious act of violence.
We hope that after watching this film, you will feel confident enough to help if someone becomes seriously ill or injured where you are. The most important thing is to act, to be decisive and to do something. This applies to all of us.
Defibrillators and first aid kits are located in many different places on our university premises. Here is a list of where the defibrillators are located. Please take a look at them so that you know where they are if something should happen on our premises.
The film is 13 minutes long. It is in Swedish with subtitles in both Swedish and English. You change the language by clicking on the cogwheel at the bottom right of the film.
