Soniya Billore has recieved an Interreg South Baltic grant
Dr Soniya Billore from The School of Business and Economics has received a successful grant application within the Interreg South Baltic, co-funded by the European Union, with a project titled BACK2WOODS for 2,5 million Euros of ERDF.
With the University of Wismar as the lead partner and other partners from the Baltic region, Soniya represents Linnaeus University as the only Swedish university in the project. She will work on the mapping and assessment of South Baltic forests and landscapes in the domain of cultural sectors, and analyse the recreational, wellbeing, and cultural exchange and consumption-based dynamics associated with forest spaces.
As the project proceeds, BACK2WOODS will be a guide for brand establishment, cultural positioning and societal connections, and provide guidelines for policy formulations, knowledge sharing, and frameworks for a resilient and sustainable future.
