During the summer, the university library remains open, but with reduced opening hours and limited services.

Introduction to the Library
On the webpage Introduction to the University Library, you will find information for new students and for anyone wishing to start using the library’s services.
Borrowing, Returning, Reserving and Requesting Materials
You can borrow, reserve, request and return books throughout the summer. Requests for materials from the other campus may take slightly longer to process. If you are a distance student, responses to enquiries may also take somewhat longer.
Interlibrary loan requests and purchase suggestions can be submitted throughout the summer. Please note that requested materials may take longer to obtain than during the regular semester.
Support for Students
Assignment and Search Support
The last Assignment and Search Support session for the spring semester will be held on June 4. After that date, if you have questions about information searching, you are welcome to visit the library during opening hours or contact us by phone or chat.
Information Searching
- The Book Teaching Session form remains open throughout the summer, but automatic replies will be in place from June 26 to August 17. Responses to requests will be provided no later than the end of August.
Reading, Writing and Speaking Support
- The text supervisors will not accept new enquiries between 26 June and 17 August.
- Any remaining tutoring appointments, self-study resources and information about autumn lectures are linked in our Moodle room.
Talking Books Support
The talking books support service remains available throughout the summer, but responses to enquiries may take longer than during the regular semester.
