The School of Business and Economics’ BusinessLab in Växjö is now officially inaugurated
At last, the BusinessLab at the School of Business and Economics is complete – with the Kalmar lab inaugurated in 2023, and now Växjö has its own BusinessLab as well!
The official opening took place in the K-building on Växjö campus and featured sparkling drinks, canapés, and live music performed by Trio Brass & Trä.
It was a festive afternoon where creativity, collaboration, and optimism for the future were in focus.
Katarina Ellborg, educational developer and senior lecturer, welcomed the invited guests. She was followed by John Jeansson, Vice Dean and leader of BusinessLab, who shared the vision behind the initiative. Dean Andreas Stephan gave the inauguration speech and, together with ICT developer Christoph Tiedtke, carried out the symbolic opening by connecting three cables labeled Education, Research, and Collaboration – representing the core pillars of BusinessLab.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to the second floor, where BusinessLab Växjö is now ready to host ideas, projects, and partnerships.
