Inauguration speech, mingle and a ceremony are on the programme when Peter Aronsson is inaugurated as vice-chancellor of Linnaeus University on December 1, 2017.
During the morning, Peter Aronsson will give his inauguration speech in Kalmar. In the evening, there will be mingle and an inauguration ceremony on campus in Växjö.
In connection to our celebration of a professor of history now becoming the vice-chancellor of Linnaeus University, we also take the opportunity to celebrate our own history. This year, it has been 50 years since Växjö became a university branch, 40 years since both Växjö and Kalmar became university colleges and an impressive 175 years since Kalmar Maritime Academy was established.
