Third-cycle education in archaeology is part of the existing research environment at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
At present, our doctoral students are part of the GRASCA graduate school, and we do not have open calls for PhD positions. However, if you have an idea for a doctoral research project, you are welcome to contact the researchers at our department to discuss opportunities. You will find information about us and our research interests at the subject of archaeology's web page.
The Graduate School in Contract Archaeology (GRASCA) is a research school for Swedish contract archaeology. Since 2015, nine doctoral students have been conducting research on how Swedish contract archaeology can enhance its impact in society and extend its markets.
