Mind the gaps! Dilemmatic aspects of knowledge and learning processes for and in teachers’ work

The aim of the course is that the participants, by the use of main theories and current research into the field, shall acquire advanced knowledge of the aspects that characterise teachers’ knowledge, and how learning on the basis of the same takes shape in the teacher education as well as in the professional practice.

Teaching method

Teaching consists of lectures and seminars. Four of the seminars are compulsory elements and include compulsory related written assignments.

Content of the course

Literature and research within the interface between the fields of teacher knowledge, teacher learning, teachers’ work, teacher education and knowledge transfer.
