Ethical and sustainable use of Artificial Intelligence, 3 hp
The course comprises an overview of the current models, theories, and concerns within
the ethics of artificial intelligence, including concepts such as accountability,
responsibility, transparency, sustainability, inclusion, and fairness. These ethical
considerations are presented and elucidated from different perspectives.
The main aim of this course is to enable co-creation of interdisciplinary and integrated knowledge that can facilitate ethical, safe, and sustainable use of AI technology in different
research fields.

Teaching methods consist of lectures and seminars (campus and online).
The course is offered in a hybrid format, with instruction both on campus in Kalmar/Växjö and online and will include 1–2 mandatory sessions.
