Research Funding Course

The course is jointly developed by the Grants and Innovation Office at Linnaeus University (LNU), Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Kristianstad University (HKR), and Halmstad University (HH).

Aim & Objectives: Strengthen the participant’s capabilities to apply for external funding for research projects.

Increase the participants':
• knowledge of the research funding landscape
• understanding of the research funding process
• ability to develop a strategy for grant writing
• ability to write and present a realistic and competitive research funding proposal

Teaching method

The course consists of four mandatory seminars, home assignments and course literature.

The dates for the meetings are: September 16, September 23, October 7, November 4 (10:00 AM–4:00 PM)

Course Content

The course covers topics such as the how to find available funding, how to improve your grant writing and insights on the funding process.
