Environmental science

Linnaeus University offers third-cycle studies in the field of environmental science, which leads to a licentiate degree or doctoral degree. The purpose of this education is to provide the student with the conditions to acquire knowledge and to be able to apply relevant scientific methodology within a scientific area of environmental science.

The education is based on course work and on the student’s own research under the direction of a supervisor. The licentiate degree corresponds to 120 third-cycle credits and the doctoral degree corresponds to 240 third-cycle credits.
