The Swedish Research Council's annual symposium on artistic research 2016

This years symposium will take place on November 29-30, on the theme "Research Ethics and Artistic Freedom in Artistic Research". Host is Linnaeus University and the faculty of Arts and Humanities.

The conference's overall purpose is to show the breadth and depth of current artistic research. The conference is divided into two parts, one covers the theme, the other consists of research presentations.

Keynotes

  • Nils-Eric Sahlin, Professor of Medical Ethics at Lund University and chair of the Expert Group on Ethics of the Swedish Research Council.
  • Cecilia Sjöholm, Professor in Aesthetics at Södertörn University in Stockholm.
