Centre for Leadership in Småland

All companies, public organisations and non-profit associations need to work on renewing their operations. Leaders therefore need to create and develop the organisation's innovation capacity. But how do you do it?

The Center for Leadership in Småland was established in 2016 under the School of Business and Economics with the ambition to be an arena for future leadership, where practical action on research-based knowledge has been the focus.

In two large projects, we have collected and built knowledge about the importance of leadership for innovative, sustainable and attractive workplaces. Since we are located in Småland, we have taken as our starting point the everyday lives of the people who live and work in our part of Sweden. In both projects, researchers at Linnaeus University have collaborated with researchers at Jönköping University, especially the Institute of Technology.

The projects were completed in July 2023 and the activities will continue on a limited scale thereafter.
