Doctoral project: How do student teachers in initial teacher education negotiate a professional identity?

The aim of the thesis is to contribute with knowledge about how teacher students on basic teacher training majoring in leisure centers refine a professional identity in the profession, as role models and colleagues with the same education and dual assignments are often missing in the schools where the students do their practicum (verksamhetsförlagd utbildning; VFU).
