More about the project
The project aims to develop understanding on bonding of solid wood for delivering efficient and durable bonding in EWPs with focus on finger joints. It considers the effect of wood characteristics, adhesive type and application parameters on bonding performance. The project also aims to investigate the short-term and long-term durability of bond-lines.
The project is part of the research in the Forest Products research group, in Linnaeus University Center for Competitive Timber Structures (Lnuc TiSt) and in the Linnaeus Knowledge Environments Advanced Materials and Green Sustainable Development.
