More about the project

This research project contributes with in-depth analyzes of data from several municipalities and their schools, school environments and teaching conditions. The project is a research-based intervention study, which means that situational problems can and will be considered.

Problem-solving proposals are drawn up together with the municipalities and their representatives, in particular with teachers and school leaders, but also with education managers within the municipalities and representatives from local entrepreneurs.

Initiatives that involve companies, parents and parent groups have the potential to raise the school's relevance and status in the local community, and thus contribute to a new view of the rural school's activities and thus the future possibilities in the municipalities.

The project is part of the research in the Studies in Curriculum, Teaching and Evaluation (SITE) research group.
