Kosovo declared independence in 2008 and has since struggled to become a European democracy. This project explores contemporary conditions for further democratization by focusing on the political, economic, judicial, bureaucratic and civil arena.

The project is part of the research in the Swedish Network for European Studies (SNES/LNU) research group.
