More about the project

The project directly contributes to strengthening democratic institutions and public administration by empowering local governments in Ukraine with digital tools for transparent fiscal data management. It addresses the gap in real-time access to local revenue information, which undermines data-driven governance and limits public trust.

At the same time, the project promotes transparency and accountability by designing a concept for a digital platform that reduces opacity in tax and fee payments, helping to counter local-level corruption risks in fiscal processes.

The project is part of the research in the Swedish Network for European Studies (SNES/LNU) research group.
