More about the project

KlimaTre was a four year (2010-2014) Norwegian research project to document the climate and economic impact of the forest-based value chains in Norway, as well as to develop environmentally friendly solutions for wood construction through increased knowledge about wooden structures' impact from a lifecycle perspective. Linnaeus University was the only international partner in the project to contribute its expertise on greenhouse gas balance of wood-based systems.

The project was part of the research conducted by the Sustainable Built Environment Research (SBER) research group.
