More about the project
In recent years, young people have been facing increasingly complex, interconnected challenges — from climate change and migration to international conflicts, strained relations between
countries, and the weakening of democratic values. These global issues can make it hard for youth to imagine positive solutions, often leading to anxiety and a loss of confidence in their ability to make a difference.
The project intends to develop the capacity of youth organizations to deliver innovative youth programs enabling young people to envision a satisfactory and attainable future. Activities include:
- A transnational training course in Verona for youth workers from Morocco, Tunisia, and Italy focused on co-designing youth work activities based on Global Citizenship Education;
- A transnational training course in Beni Mellal (Morocco) for youth workers from Morocco, Tunisia, and Italy, led by experts from ZaLab, focused on co-designing youth activities through participatory video production;
- Local testing of newly developed youth work activities with groups of young people;
- Evaluation of the pilot activities and fiThe project explores the theme of the future with young generations in Italy, Morocco, and Tunisia through Global Citizenship Education and participatory video workshops.
- Production of a toolkit and organization of local awareness-raising events to share the project results.
The project is being carried out in Italy, Morocco, and Tunisia.
