Green buildings constitute an important part of efforts for transition to a sustainable built environment, and encompass buildings that are resource-efficient with low environmental impacts in a lifecycle perspective.
In this project, the Sustainable Built Environment Research group contributed to the writing of a chapter on wood-based greener buildings in the FAO Forestry Paper on the Economics of Climate Change Mitigation Options in the Forest Sector for the COP 21 meeting in Paris.
