The current project is implemented to create an understanding of how the support is for older people with severe mental illness in order to identify how health, well-being and dignity are in municipal housing and home care. Furthermore, we would like to get more knowledge about older people’s life situation with severe mental illness and the support this group receive in their daily life and in their living situation.

You are invited to the opening of the exhibition Når vi bliver gamle/When We Get Old which invites the public to reflect on care and old age across a variety of European contexts. Giving voice to issues of old age care, this exhibition highlights findings from the InnovateDignity consortium.
The exhibition runs from the 1 February to 1 March 2023 at the Danish Museum of Nursing History in Kolding, Denmark. The official opening takes place on Thursday
