More about the project

This project analyses verbally depicted experiences of survivors from the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. One aim of the project is to describe how the actors portray the social phenomenon of "war violence" "victimhood" and "reconciliation", and the second is to analyse discursive patterns that interplay in the creation of the terms "victim" and "perpetrator". The research question is: How do the interviewees describe war violence, victimhood and reconciliation after the war?

In this project, the author tries to access the phenomena of "war violence" "victimhood" and "reconciliation" by analysing the interviewees' stories, namely their own descriptions in relation to themselves and others.
