Project: The Pupils’ Consciousness of the Cultural Difference and Diversity in the French Foreign Language Classroom

The literature is especially from Algerian-Francophone writers, in the French foreign language classroom with the objective to promote the pupils intercultural competence which is one of the key words in the teaching of modern languages in Sweden and in Europe. I analyze how this literature can deconstruct the dichotomies between the French and the Algerian culture, the one of the former colonizer and the former colonized.
