I work as a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and hold a PhD in Social, Work and Organizational Psychology. I am the Programme Coordinator for the Master’s Programme in Work and Organizational Psychology. My research explores how stereotypes related to demographic group memberships and occupational roles influence opportunities, perceptions, and decision-making processes in the labour market.
Teaching
I teach in the Master’s Programme in Work and Organizational Psychology, the Psychology Programme, and in standalone courses. My teaching primarily focuses on work, organizational, and social psychology, and also includes philosophy of science and developmental psychology.
Research
I am part of the Division for Social, Work and Organizational Psychology. My research focuses on how stereotypes linked to demographic group memberships and occupations shape perceptions, judgments, and decision-making. I use a range of methods, including exploratory studies as well as laboratory and field experiments, to examine stereotypes related to age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and occupational roles, and how these influence perceptions and helping behaviour.
Commissions
I am the programme coordinator for the Master’s Programme in Work and Organizational Psychology and responsible for students in Human Resource Management with psychology as their main field of study.
