In my scholarly work I interpret the general theoretical backdrop of research on education and the reflexivity of pedagogical practice in five different directions:

1. Pedagogical Anthropology and anthropological concepts of pedagogy, especially taking into account the perspective of Children Studies.

2. Methodologies for phenomenological and ethnographical empirical research and empirical studies on education and its conditions.

3. Development of reflexivity in the educational practice.

4. Esthetical approaches to education and tacit dimensions of pedagogy (indirect learning processes in the classroom, corporal communication, learning arrangements, etc.).

5. Dialogical understanding of quality development in educational institutions, also in reference to Science Research.

My perspective is European with mostly continental influences.
