I am a Senior Lecturer in Business Administration in the subject of Entrepreneurship. My background includes a PhD from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), where I specialized in gender, context, and entrepreneurship. My research aims to promote rural areas through different types of entrepreneurships.

Teaching

As a senior lecturer, I am engaged in teaching in the subject of entrepreneurship. I share my knowledge and experience with students and help them understand the different aspects of entrepreneurship. I am also the program director for the School of Business and Economics' Master's program Entrepreneurship, Sustainability and Social Change. Read more about the program here.

Research

My research focuses on understanding and analysing entrepreneurship from a critical perspective. I have investigated how male stereotypes affect the role of the entrepreneur and how entrepreneurship can contribute to empowerment and emancipation. In addition, I have studied women's entrepreneurial networks and their importance in promoting gender equality and inclusion.

I am the Swedish project owner for FLIARA (Female-led Innovation in Agriculture and Rural Areas), which is an international research project funded by EU-horizon. In FLIARA, we highlight innovative women in rural areas and increase understanding and knowledge about innovations for a more sustainable future.

I am also involved in the sub-project Cultural Supply through Entrepreneurship Across Sector Boundaries within the research project InKuiS – Innovative Cultural Entrepreneurship in Collaborative Research. In the sub-project, we study how collaboration between sectors of society (private, public, non-profit) in rural areas works within the cultural sphere. I study Ryssby IOP library as an example of collaboration.

You can read more about the projects via the links below.

Commissions

I am responsible for the School of Business and Economics's Co-creation Council, where we integrate research and education with collaboration by bringing together actors in the Linnaeus region from different sectors of society. Read more about the Co-creation Council a little further down on this page.
