I am a lecturer in the Department of Biology and Environmental Science and responsible for Environmental Toxicology (1MX039) and Environmental Risk analysis (4MX005). My research background on heavy metal pollution problems in soil, water and plant species and remediation management. I am also an expert on phytoremediation management (using plant species for removal of heavy metals from the environment)

Recently finished research work: investigation regarding remediation of contaminated sediment from Oskarshamn harbour using bioenergy plant species Salix spp

We have discovered aquatic moss for rapid removal of arsenic from the mining water in North part of Sweden (SVT News)
