As a associate professor in Wood Science, I have worked on the understanding of wood properties throughout the entire production chain, from forest to finished product. My research today mainly focuses on the durability and moisture properties of wood, which are important factors for outdoor use. Through my research, I wish to contribute to a sustainable biobased society, as well as to create innovations and growth in the Swedish forest and wood industry.
In my role as pro-dean, I have a special focus on cooperation with the surrounding society, both in research and education.
