I am an archaeologist teaching and researching archaeology and heritage studies at Linnaeus University. My research concerns archaeology and time travel, experimental heritage, history of archaeology, the role of archaeology in society, archaeology/heritage and identity, archaeology/heritage and communication, heritage on display, digital heritage and digital archaeology. During the years 2013–16 I am conducting research in a VR-funded project called ARKDIS, Archaeological information in the digital society. Within this project archaeologists and information scientists work together to conduct research on the effects of digitization on archaeological information. Since autumn 2014, I am program director of a bachelor's program at Linnaeus University, "Cultural heritage in the present and the future", an education that provides perspectives on uses of heritage in Sweden and the world today and in the future and also offers studies in university subjects of importance to the heritage sector.
