Dan-Olof Rooth's research is mainly focused on labor economics, and especially at various forms of discrimination when hiring. In this research, both the economic and social psychology models are used to explain employer's discriminatory behavior. More recently, Dan-Olof's research also incorporates issues in health economics and political economy.
