My research focuses on plant-associated microbiomes, particularly fungi, and their interactions with forest trees and pathogens. By exploring fungal diversity, community structure, and functional roles primarily within inner plant tissues across diverse host plants and environments, my projects aim to improve our understanding of how plant-associated microbial communities shape tree health, disease resistance, and forest ecosystem functioning.
