I am Professor in economics at the Departments of Economics and Statistics.
My research interests fall broadly into the areas of labour economics, industrial relations, gender economics, time allocation and evaluation of employment and labour market policy.
I have been involved in labour market analysis at both the national and international level and have during the last decade actively participated in multidisciplinary European research projects (4th, 5th and 6th and 7th European Framework Programmes) and European network of excellence. More recently, I have been involved in various research projects related to life course issues and was the coordinator of a EU-project on life course founded by the European Foundation for the Improvement of Working and Living Conditions.
