Fredrik Hanell is a Senior Lecturer in Library and Information Science and Head of the Department of Cultural Sciences.

Teaching

Fredrik currently teaches on the Bachelor's programmes in Library and Information Science and the Master's programme in Digital Humanities.

Research

Fredrik Hanell holds a PhD in Library and Information Studies from Lund University (2019). His research interests include critical library studies, in particular focusing on public libraries as actors in a democratic society, and studies of media and information literacy in digital settings, as well as digital methods development and critique.
