I am a researcher and engineer with a strong interest in the intersection of technology and the built environment. My work focuses on evaluating the energy performance of buildings, primarily residential, with particular attention to heat transfer dynamics and the behavioural decision-making processes of occupants—both in regulating indoor conditions and in adopting long-term energy solutions.

A central theme of my research is the integration and reconciliation of heterogeneous data sources through data science methodologies. This enables more accurate representations of buildings and their energy systems, and facilitates enhanced interoperability across datasets.

My recent projects have explored the automation of energy assessments, supported by the development of semantic models of the built environment and adherence to open standards for both data and modelling frameworks. I have also been engaged in enhancing multi-objective optimisation frameworks that operate across different spatial and systemic scales, and in contributing to the revision of guidelines to enable more seamless integrations.
