I am a Senior Lecturer in Gender Studies at Linnaeus University since 2013. I received my PhD from Tema Genus, Linköping’s University, in 2008. My thesis focuses lesbian feminism and activism during the 1970s and 1980s in Sweden. 2009-2013 I worked as a Senior Lecturer in Gender Studies at Södertörn’s University College. I have also taught and supervised in academic and creative writing for many years, at Swedish Universities and abroad. During 2012-2013 I had a research project named ”Writing as a Method. A Study in Poetry, Writing Process and the Possibilities of Reflexive Academic Writing”. In relation to this project, I published the book Prolog till den litterära vetenskapsteorin [Prologue to the Literary Theory of Science] (Malmö, 2014). I was also a visiting researcher at the Centre for Narrative Research, University of East London. The project was funded by the Swedish Research Council (Artistic Research). Together with Professor Gunilla Byrman and Associate Professor Stina Ericsson, I am a co-director of the Centre for Gender and Language at Linnaeus University. The Centre is multidisciplinary and multi-faculty, and its aim is to become an international research environment for researchers with an interest in the complex relations and issues that exist between gender and language. I teach at all academic levels, and I am also a poet and a supervisor for PhD-students at School of Dance and Circus in Stockholm and Aalto University in Helsinki.
