My professional passion is early stage entrepreneurship in practices characterised by hybrid logics or increasingly under influence thereof. Conceptually, in entrepreneurship and management science, such practices are called gestation activities in venture emergence, which can be outcome or process oriented. I was more process oriented in earlier ventures/research projects and more outcome oriented nowadays. Empirically and practically, I focus on not-for-profit contexts or for-profit/not-for-profit interfaces. This professional passion is governed by my fascination for and vast experience of forming structures, negotiating cognitive schematas, materializing the not yet realized, leading open-ended processes with high uncertainty and dealing with vagueness as a productive resource.
