Heidi is a PhD candidate in Business Administration, with a specialization in international business/entrepreneurship. Her current research focuses on the sharing economy and the internationalization of companies, ‘sharecoms’, operating within it. 

She is head of the bachelor programme in international business, and acting head of the master programme in international business strategy. She also engages in teaching on various international business and entrepreneurship-related courses, at both levels. 

She holds an MSc International Business Strategy, an MA English Language Teaching/Applied Linguistics, and a BA (Hons) Business and Marketing. She has a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) accredited by Cambridge University, and a TEFL-Q (diploma in teaching English as a foreign language) awarded in association with The British Council. She is also a certified corporate trainer.

Before moving to Sweden, she worked in academia and industry in the UK. She has taught in several high-ranking universities, and worked with Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies, as well as small and medium size enterprises and start-ups, in training and consulting roles.
