Helén Anderson

I am since 2023 professor emerita.

Teaching

From 1977 to 2020, I have taught business administration and related method courses from undergraduate to postgraduate level. My teaching has mainly concerned marketing and strategy. I have also taught in executive education. My teaching has taken place during appointments at the Stockholm School of Economics, Östersund University College, Linköping University, Jönköping International School of Economics and Linnaeus University, as well as a few short guest assignments abroad.

Research

My research includes market and technology strategy issues. I am primarily interested in how market aspects affect the development of technology and products - in short, how technology reaches market acceptance.

In my research, I am also interested in project organization, and have mainly focused on development projects.

A research field throughout my career concerns the dynamics of business networks and buyer-seller relationships. In this area, a focus on the effects that acquisitions and mergers have on customers and suppliers has also developed.

Ongoing research project is a collaboration with Uppsala University funded by the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond: Understanding Recurring in the Business Landscape
