Helena Forslund has a long experience as lecturer in logistics and supply chain management on especially advanced level. In her research, Helena is interested in supply chain collaboration, efficiency and innovation particularly in the transportation industry. She is also studying closed loop supply chains for recycling of flat glass.
The research has resulted in some 110 scientific publications, of which 35 are published in major operations, logistics and supply chain management journals (e.g. International Journal of Operations & Production Management and International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management). She is Senior Editor of Journal of Business Logistics.
Helena is research leader of the research group Supply Chain Studies. She is or has been working in research projects funded by TripleF, EU, Vinnova, Kamprad Foundation, HUR, Växjö Municipality and Crafoord Foundation. She is also active in Logistikföreningen Plan - the Swedish APICS society.
