I am senior lecturer in social work at Linnaeus University. I am PhD in history and i finished my doctoral degree in 2008, with my thesis "Så gör vi inte här i Sverige. Vi brukar göra så här" -Retorik och praktik i LO:s invandrarpolitik 1945-1981 ("We actually don't do like that here in Sweden. We usually do like this". Rhetoric and Practices in LO's immigration policy 1945-1981). The work of research, teaching and concurrence I have been involved in, previous at Växjö University, but nowadays at Linnaeus University, has mostly revolved around fields and themes as migration, ethnicity, political economy, cultural encounters, working life, labour movement, welfare state and social policy. At the Socionom programme in Växjö where we are educating social workers, I mostly teach on the first semester of the programme, on the course 1SA605, Välfärdsstatens organisering och socialpolitiska principer (The organisation of the welfare state and principles of social policy) 15 ECTS.
