Welcome to my page!

I am an Assistant Professor in Political Science at Linnaeus University. Previously, I have held positions as a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University and as a visiting researcher and committee officer in the Swedish Parliament.

My research interests include ethics, democratic governance and pedagogical innovation in higher education. I tend to combine normative questions (what we ought to do) with empirical questions (what we do) to inform political, democratic and social practices. I bring these interests together in the VR-funded project Saving of Swedovia, where I lead the development of a game to explore ethical dilemmas during climate hazards.

My research has been published in international journals including the British Journal of Political Science, Governance, Politics and Governance, Crime, Law and Social Change, and the Journal of Political Science Education. My first book, The Everyday Ethics of Politics, is under contract with Routledge.

My teaching is grounded in active learning and pedagogical innovation. I primarily teach courses in political theory and research methods, and supervise students at the bachelor and master level. I have a particular interest in developing teaching formats that bridge theory and practice, including game-based and role-play exercises.

You can find more information about me, my research and my teaching on my personal page here.
