Joel Martinsson is a researcher and lecturer in Political Science at Linnaeus University. Previously, he has held positions as Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University and as a visiting research fellow and a committee officer at the Swedish Parliament.
His research interests are in ethics, democratic governance, and pedagogic innovation in higher education. I tend to combine normative questions (what ought we do) with empirical questions (what are we doing) to inform political, democratic, and social practices. His work has been published or is forthcoming in the British Journal of Political Science, Governance, Politics and Governance, Crime, Law and Social Change, and Journal of Political Science Education
