Teaching

I teach areas around the environment and resource utilization on several courses in the base year, the university engineering program in Energy and Environment and interdisciplinary environment and sustainable development courses for most engineers. In my teaching, I want the student and science at the center and like to work with different pedagogies and flipped classrooms. I also supervise degree workers in water, materials and resource issues.

Research

My research revolves around water, processes and purification, preferably with connections to energy, circularity and environmental applications. Some previous projects have been related to developing countries and how concepts around purification can be built with small resources. Projects I have been involved in have worked on: purification of textile dyes, identification of fungi and bacterial composition in water purification filters, foaming of individual drains, filter purification techniques, algae as carbon dioxide filters for biogas, water use in apartment buildings, Water as a resource, Smart water and water management.
