I have a joiner certificate (1988) from the crafts foundation of Stockholm city (cabinet maker) and a PhD (2016) in Forest Industry Production Systems (Doctor of Philosophy in Technology). My doctoral thesis concerns two aspects of the manufacture of laminated veneer products (LVPs). The first aspect is related to the possible improvement of the shape stability of LVPs, and the second has its starting point in the modification of the veneer for enhanced formability as well as the question of whether and how these modifications affect the bond-line strength.
My main interest is to work with development issues in wood manufacturing. I have experience in the field of furniture product development and production, both as an employee, self-employed, and as a consultant.

I have developed courses, been responsible and lectured in the area of CAE and production technology. Also, I have lectured in various courses in the area of wood technology.

2016-01-01--2017-12-31 Flexible automation in manufacturing of laminated veneer products. The project was funded by The Knowledge Foundation and the industry.
