My doctoral project focuses on increasing circularity in the wood and furniture industry through remanufacturing and reuse. By analyzing and developing innovative solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders, we aim to extend product lifespans and reduce environmental impact. The project particularly examines public sector operations, where furniture is often replaced, to identify opportunities for sustainable remanufacturing and reuse. The goal is to reduce waste and demand for raw materials, as well as to promote circular strategies within the industry.
