I am a PhD.student at the Departement of Sports Science. My research focuses on the role of nutrition and a sufficient diet in the health and well-being of female atheltes. The primary aim of my thesis is to increase the knowlegde about physiological consequences of energy deficiency, i.e. to gut health, microbiota and the immune system, and the impact of Reletaive Energy Deficiency in Sports (REDS) on the female athelte`s overall health, professional sporting career and sence of well-being.

I have a masters of science (MSc) in human physiology, and did my masters thesis on the effects of low energy availability on the immune profile in female endurance athletes. I have several years of clinical experience working as a physiotherapist with special competence in the field of psycosomatic and psyciatric disorders.
