My research is focusing on quality of life for people with disabilities of all ages. In my thesis, which is about power and self-determination for people with decisions about LSS measures, I have worked with interviews in groups and individually. The thesis consists of two parts: one related to personal assistance and a concerning guardianship. Currently I am working on a study based on interviews with people who have dementia and their families. The interviews are conducted in eight municipalities in Småland in regular housing and in special housing. I am also working with a project concerning guardianship.
