As a designer, I have a particular interest in participatory design, societal development, and collaborative processes of sense-making. I have worked with co-design to address sustainability challenges at the municipal level, user-centered design to improve accessibility in public transport, as well as with tutoring and planning of design education. My work has been formed by my PhD in Art, Technology, and Design from KTH in collaboration with Konstfack, as well as my MFA and BFA in Industrial Design from Konstfack.
Research
I am involved in the research project Earth Logic Design, which is part of InKuiS – Innovative Cultural Entrepreneurship in Collaborative Co-creative Research. Together with project leader Mathilda Tham and Åsa Ståhl, I am investigating how Earth Logic Design – design that contributes to good and equitable lives within the limits of planet Earth – is practiced and could take shape. As part of the project, I am conducting a survey that explores the conditions for and the values created by this type of design work.
