I was  born in Sunderland, England,  but have lived in Sweden since 1984. I studied at Kristianstad University between 2008 and 2012. I have two bachelor's degrees in history (historiography / Armenian massacres 1915) and English (literature) and two masters degrees, also in history (medieval/ Axelsson Totts) and English (didactics/ phonetics and pronunciation)

Research

In my dissertation, I research the emotional network of the Axelsson Totts and how network feelings influenced the political events and magnatial conflicts during the era of the Kalmar Union. I use the Neville Family, who took part in the War of the Roses in England, as a comparative factor to put the Axelsson Totts in a wider 15th century perspective. Some important concepts in the dissertation are friendship, loyalty, courtly culture and its expression in the late Middle Ages; Regime Regale - Regimen Politicum, Dominium regale and Dominium politicum et regale and the aristocratic Res Publica.
