I am a senior lecturer in biochemical methodology and conducts research in collaboration with Prof Cornelia Witthöft (Food Science). I have a chemistry degree from Stockholm University and a background in the pharmaceutical industry (Astra, Kabi, SBL) and a broad chemical competence. I am particularly interested in instrumental methods such as mass spectrometry, gas chromatography and liquid chromatography.

I am the program coordinator of the bachelor program Nutrition and Food Sciences (NutriLivs), and teaches general chemistry, biochemistry, food chemistry and analytical chemistry. I also supervise Degree Projects work on the BMA program and NutriLivs program and I am course coordinator/examiner for the Degree Project in Chemistry at first level (15 ECTS credits), and a number of other courses.

I am a member of the Food Science Research Group led by Cornelia Witthöft. I am also associated with the research groups "Ecological Chemistry" led by Prof Rikard Unelius. My current research is focused on developing analyzes for micronutrients and phytochemicals, and how their content can be optimized in food.

Member of the bord of Saco and Sulf at Lnu. I am the head of the local Sulf union at Linnaeus University.
