Associate professor and senior lecturer in geography.

I am an eclectic and versatile human geographer with a PhD from the University of Gothenburg, where I also earned my MSc and BSc degrees. I completed my postdoctoral research at Lund University, where I later served as a senior lecturer. My previous professional experience includes positions at Chalmers University of Technology, the University of Gothenburg, and Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland.

Teaching

I teach several courses in geography and human geography. These include, among others, social geography, development geography, urban and rural theory, cultural landscapes, urban planning, research methodology, philosophy of science, and sociology of science. I supervise students at all levels, up to PhD.

Research

My research interests include critical, historical, political, social, and cultural geography, as well as Science and Technology Studies (STS) and the sociology of science. My scholarly work primarily focuses on the formalized use of concepts and its effects on societal planning and research. Ongoing research projects explore spatial conflicts from a socio-cultural perspective, issues related to knowledge production, as well as the dynamics of social vulnerability and unsustainable behaviors.
